What supplier verification means

Supplier verification is a documentation-led assessment of whether a material can be matched to the product record and the analytical information supplied for the relevant batch. It is not a substitute for a laboratory’s own suitability assessment, method validation or risk controls.

How to read analytical documentation

A batch document should identify the material, relevant batch or lot reference, analytical method where stated, result fields and issuing organisation. Match those details to the product and order information before relying on the document for laboratory records.

Chromatographic and mass-based data answer different questions. A chromatographic purity result describes the relative composition observed under the stated method; a mass-spectrometry result may support molecular-mass consistency. Neither result alone establishes every aspect of identity, composition, sterility, suitability or fitness for a particular experiment. Read method conditions, limitations and the underlying batch record together.

Accreditation and independence

Company certification, supplier documentation and testing-laboratory accreditation are separate concepts. Core Research does not make a company, laboratory-accreditation, GMP or independent-testing claim unless the relevant document identifies the certificate holder, scope, issuing body and current validity. Where a document names an analytical issuer, assess that document on its own terms.
