These terms govern the use of core-research.net and every purchase made through it. Placing an order means you have read them and agree to them.

Who we are

Core Research is a UK supplier of research-grade peptides and laboratory compounds, trading from Birmingham, United Kingdom. Products are sold under the law of England and Wales, for laboratory research only.

Who may order

By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old; that you are a qualified researcher, scientist or laboratory professional, or are buying on behalf of an institution that employs one; that the materials will be used only for legitimate laboratory research; that you have the legal capacity to enter a binding contract; and that the details you give us are accurate.

Research use only

Everything we sell is supplied strictly for laboratory and scientific research. Nothing is for human consumption, veterinary use or diagnosis, and nothing is for the treatment, prevention, cure or mitigation of any disease. No product is approved by the MHRA, the FDA or any other regulator for clinical use. Responsibility for lawful and proper use in your jurisdiction rests with you, and we do not provide dosing, administration or clinical guidance of any kind. Products and documentation

We take care that descriptions, specifications, images and prices are accurate, but slight variations can occur and we do not warrant that every page is free of error. Each lot is released against documented analytical testing, and the certificate of analysis for the lot supplied is available on request. What a certificate does and does not show is explained in our testing and quality methodology.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any applicable taxes. They can change without notice, but the price shown when you order is the price you pay. Payment is taken in full at the point of order by the methods offered at checkout, and an order is not processed until payment has cleared. We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, in which case any payment taken is refunded in full.

Order acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send the dispatch confirmation; until then no contract has been formed. Institutional buyers are supplied on the same terms as every other customer, as set out on the institutional procurement page.

Delivery, returns and replacements

Delivery options, charges and timeframes are set out on the shipping and delivery page. We operate a strict no-returns policy; the circumstances in which we replace lost, damaged or wrongly packed orders are set out in the returns policy. Both pages form part of these terms.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with an order is limited to the price paid for the product concerned. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss, nor for any harm, injury or loss arising from misuse of a product or from its use outside its research scope. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Your responsibility to us

You agree to indemnify Core Research, its owners and its staff against any claim, damage, liability or cost arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of a product, your breach of any law or regulation, or any third-party claim connected with your purchase.

Intellectual property

The content of this website, including the Core Research name and marks, text, images, product records and code, belongs to Core Research and is protected by UK copyright and trade mark law. It may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without our written permission.

Using the website

You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose; not to submit false or misleading information; not to attempt to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorised access to it; not to run automated tools such as bots or scrapers against it without permission; not to resell our products without authorisation; and not to misrepresent our products to others. We may suspend access or refuse future orders where these terms are breached or where we suspect fraud.

Where we link to third-party websites we are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.

Events beyond our control

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government action, epidemics, carrier strikes and supply-chain disruption.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you order is the version that applies to that order.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the website is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest continues in force.
